What is WEEE?

WEEE is named Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.
The European Union issued the first WEEE Directive 2002/96 / EC in 2002, which is applicable to all EU member countries in order to improve the management environment of waste electronic and electrical equipment in addition to promote economic circulation and increase resource efficiency and dispose and recycle electronic products at the end of their life cycle.
There is a reason that each EU member country has implemented Directive 2012/19 / European Union (WEEE Directive) independently into national law. Therefore, each registration is only valid in the corresponding countries or regions, that is, WEEE code cannot be used in all countries.
Germany, as a European country, is extremely strict with environmentally friendly requirements.
Based on the WEEE Directive, Germany launched the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Law (Elektrog) and the Law requires those old equipment have to meet the related conditions and then will be disposed and recycled.

eVAT Master, as a pioneer, launched WEEE recycling service met by German ElektroG.
